Carpe Noctem

In midnight’s hush, when shadows hold their sway, The world sleeps soundly, while my thoughts give way To realms of wisdom, bathed in silvered light, A carpe noctem, fueled by intellect’s might.

The air is crisp, a canvas dark and deep, Where constellations in their courses sweep. A single cigarette, a ember’s gentle glow, Companionship in this nocturnal flow.

So let the hours tick by, unseen, unheard, While knowledge blossoms, every precious word.
